Project: Retro Kids
Our Theme :
The Retro print line for Fabindia Kids Autumn Winter collection is inspired by by different elements lost in time. Old cassette tapes, cameras, telephones, giving an essence of vintage nostalgia.
The artworks are for hand block making to be printed in discharge technique with florescent colors on dark base dye with deeper tones for Winter wear.
We love the result and quirky handcrafted shirts!
Process
The drawings have been converted to block/screen prints with natural indigo colors as well as bright punch tones for cute kids wear collection.
Results
It’s a best seller print story amongst the kids wear category and used for both boys casuals as well as girls casual western wear. From narrating a city life story to wearing it, is a different energy and appreciated by many parents, hence increasing the sell through of the products.
