Project: Whimsical World
Our Theme :
The Bee farm takes you to a whimsical world of little bees, colorful florals, chirpy birds, a captivating sight for kids. Inspired by Ruskin Bond stories with unusual animals the print range shows fictional characters for Fabindia Fusion Kids wear.
Process
The process includes printing, dyeing, applique patchwork and stitching for the range plan where artworks are converted into block prints and printed in Sanganer a small town in Rajasthan, India.
We also used an embroidery form called Applique in this range where Appliqué work is a basic thread and needlework in which fabrics cut in different shapes and sizes are sewn together on a large base fabric to form a pattern or design. It is commonly used for decoration as patchwork, on garments. This technique is accomplished by hand embroidery or by machine.
