Project: Riverine
Our Theme :
One of the most exciting collection we curated for Fabindia Women’s wear western, exploring leaf printing, clamp dye, shibori by understanding the form and structure of leaf.
As the name suggest “Riverine” relating to or situated on a river or riverbank, we tried to illustrate landscape abstract river flow in our print with frogs and lotus blooming out and creates a soft organic pattern.
The color palette is dried greens and ocean hues to stimulate a stable emotional state connecting earth, water and nature together using both grounded and uplifting shades with browns and blues.
Process
The drawings have been converted to block/screen prints with natural indigo colors as well as bright punch tones for Women’s Western wear collection.
